The Overside LARS has hydraulically and electrically operated overside frames with a high operational range, available with both a standardized and customized design. Winches come as an electric single or multi-drive solution with permanent magnet or standard AC motors. The drum size is of standard or custom design. Power is regenerated back into the ship's grid when the winch pays out rope, resulting in reduced energy usage and emissions. The skidding system has an electrical drive solution, with the option for battery power.
